The course is hilly and strategically designed so accuracy off the tee is more important than pure distance—favor hitting fairways over trying to gain yards.

Water features and tightly guarded landing areas come into play on multiple holes, so play conservative tee shots and avoid risky lines near water.

Bentgrass greens generally roll true but can become slick or quick—focus on landing approaches below the hole and trust your reads for subtle breaks.

Significant elevation changes affect club selection, so club up for uphill approaches and take one less club for long downhill shots.

Wind can be gusty on exposed ridges, so check wind direction at the top of the slope and adjust ball flight and yardage accordingly.
