Playing Tips

The hilly layout rewards accurate tee shots so favor placement over pure distance to avoid difficult approaches from slopes or rough.

Several holes have significant elevation changes so club up for uphill shots and club down for long downhill approaches to avoid coming up short or overshooting the green.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and well-maintained but can be moderately fast, so take extra time to read subtle breaks and control your approach speed.

Exposed holes can be affected by winds coming off Mount Rokko, so always check wind direction at the tee and adjust club selection and trajectory accordingly.

Local Weather Patterns

Hyogo's inland Kansai climate brings hot, humid summers with a rainy season in June and occasional typhoons in late summer, while springs and autumns are generally mild and stable, and winds from nearby mountains can be noticeable on exposed holes.

Best Season to Play

Late spring (April–May) and autumn (September–November) offer the most comfortable conditions and clear views of Mount Rokko, while avoiding the June rainy season and peak typhoon months is advisable.

Dress Code

Blazers are required inside the clubhouse (except from June to September). The following attire is not allowed inside the clubhouse or during play: collarless shirts, jeans, and non-golf shoes.
