Accuracy off the tee is rewarded on this tree‑lined forest layout, so favor position over pure distance to avoid trouble.

Approach shots require precise club selection because the course is set up to championship standards with tight landing areas around many greens.

Greens alternate between Zoysia (slower and more receptive) and Bentgrass (faster and truer), so check which grass type you have and adjust putting speed accordingly.

Most holes are sheltered by trees and see limited wind, but some more exposed holes can pick up Kanto breezes so pay attention to wind direction on the day.

Soft spikes are required and the course can play firm during dry, tournament‑setup conditions, so carry a variety of clubs and plan for run‑up shots into receptive or faster greens.

Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–November) offer the most comfortable conditions, firmer greens and stable weather — avoid the early summer rainy season and peak summer heat.
