Use the relatively open and fairly flat fairways to prioritize position and accurate approach shots rather than relying solely on distance off the tee.

On the short 13th hole an aggressive two-shot strategy can be rewarding when conditions allow, but back off if hazards crowd the landing area.

Treat the 3rd and 6th holes with caution because ponds and a deep bunker near the green demand conservative targets and good recovery planning.

Note that greens are a mix of bentgrass and zoysia, so expect faster, truer rolls on bentgrass and more grain and slower speed on zoysia—test putts before committing.

Coastal sea breezes from the Seto Inland Sea can influence club selection and ball flight, so check wind direction and strength at every tee.
