Fairways are generally wide and forgiving, but the overall yardage is long so balance distance and accuracy off the tee rather than always swinging driver.

Several elevated tees offer sea views but are exposed to wind, so factor crosswinds and gusts into club selection on both tee shots and approaches.

Bentgrass greens tend to be true and can play quicker than expected, so be decisive on putts and carefully read subtle breaks around the holes.

Many holes reward smart positioning off the tee and conservative play into the greens, so consider laying up on long par 5s if a long approach would leave a difficult shot into the green.
