Well-placed bunkers and water hazards make conservative play attractive on many holes, so consider laying up on long par 5s when hazards come into play.

The dogleg 17th with a pond demands a precise tee shot or a cautious layup to the correct side to open a safe approach to the green.

Account for elevation changes (within about 30m) by clubbing up or down as needed on uphill/downhill approaches to avoid coming up short or overshooting.
