Playing Tips

Wide tree-lined fairways reward a controlled tee shot—favor accuracy over maximum distance to avoid being blocked by trees.

The hilly layout produces noticeable elevation changes, so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill approach shots.

Two bentgrass greens are often subtly undulating, so take extra time to read the breaks and avoid rushing long putts.

Summer cart-on access makes the round more comfortable and helps with walking hilly terrain, but check for post-rain restrictions before relying on cart access.

Wind from the Sea of Japan can be variable and strong on exposed holes, so confirm wind direction on the tee and play an extra club when necessary.

Best Season to Play

Late spring (May–early June before the rainy season) and autumn (September–November) offer the most comfortable conditions with stable weather and clear visibility, while summer brings rain and typhoon risk and winter can have snow and cold.

Dress Code

During play, wearing clothing not sold as golf (sports) wear, such as T-shirts or jeans, is prohibited. Please wear golf shoes with soft spikes or spikeless soles during play. For safety and heatstroke prevention, wearing a hat is recommended during play.
