About This Course

General Incorporated Association Kobe Golf Club is one of Japan’s oldest golf courses, established in 1903. Despite its short overall yardage, the course’s traditional design rewards accuracy over distance so favor fairway woods or long irons off the tee instead of trying to overpower holes with a driver.

Elevation changes on the Rokko slopes affect carry and roll significantly, so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill approaches carefully.

The single Zoysia green tends to be firmer and can play slower in cool months, so expect lower-bouncing approaches and slower putts and take extra care with distance control.

Wind can funnel through the valleys and change direction quickly, so watch flags and trees before each shot and be ready to make conservative choices.

Older, handcrafted fairways and natural contours can penalize errant shots, so focus on course management and placing tee shots to leave comfortable approach angles.
