The wide front-nine fairways reward aggressive driving, so take advantage of length off the tee while avoiding trouble left and right.

The back nine is characterized by rivers and ponds that come into play on approaches, so prioritize accuracy and consider layups when water is within range.

Expect frequent elevation changes across the hilly layout, and adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots, often taking one more club for long uphill approaches.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can be moderately quick, so focus on speed control and read subtle breaks carefully.

Wind can be changeable on the foothills with swirling crosswinds from exposed tees and greens, so check prevailing wind and aim accordingly.
