Playing Tips

The Champion Course features fast bentgrass greens, so focus on leaving your approach shots below the hole and be conservative with long putts.

On the Queen Course many greens are protected by water and bunkers, so favour accuracy over attacking pins and consider layups when hazards come into play.

Because the course sits around 600 m elevation, the ball can carry a little farther than at sea level, so check club selection on longer holes.

Exposed highland holes can be breezy, especially in the afternoon, so always account for wind direction and strength when choosing trajectory and club.

Tight fairways reward accuracy off the tee, so consider fairway woods or long irons when accuracy is more important than maximum distance, and take advantage of the comfortable five-person carts to keep a steady pace.

Best Season to Play
