Playing Tips

Although the total yardage is modest, the course’s hilly, undulating fairways reward accuracy over distance so favor precise tee shots to avoid slopes and penalty areas.

Many holes play across ridges into narrower landing areas, so carefully account for elevation changes and consider clubbing up or down to hit your intended target.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can be quick and true, requiring careful pace control and attention to subtle breaks on approaches and putts.

Wind can be gusty on exposed ridge holes, especially in the afternoon, so always check wind direction and play conservatively when breezy.

Strategic bunkers and occasional water hazards protect many approaches, making it safer to aim for the center of the green rather than attacking tight pin positions.

Kansai/Hyogo has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers including a June rainy season and occasional typhoons in late summer, mild and pleasant springs, cool and relatively dry autumns, and generally mild winters with colder, windier conditions on exposed ridges.

Best Season to Play

Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–November) are ideal for comfortable temperatures, stable weather, and attractive course conditions, while the hot, humid rainy season (June) and typhoon-prone late summer are best avoided.
