Playing Tips

1
Despite the club’s flat layout, accuracy off the tee is important because water features and narrow landing areas demand well-placed drives.
2
Several holes are protected by water near the landing zones or greens, so favour conservative club selection and lay up when the carry risk is high.
3
Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can run true and fairly quick, so take care with pace on putts and test the speed early in your round.
4
At nearly 7,000 yards the course plays long, so longer hitters can gain advantage but smart course management and avoiding big numbers will pay off.
5
Winds are typically light inland breezes, but exposed holes can pick up enough wind to alter flight on long irons and drivers, so check flags before key shots.
