Wide fairways reward aggressive tee shots, but be aware of cart paths running through the center of many fairways which can produce awkward lies if you miss the ideal landing area.

The hilly layout requires careful club selection for elevation changes—take an extra club for uphill shots and one less on long downhill shots.

At 6,808 yards the course plays long, so non-long hitters should prioritize fairway position and accuracy over distance to make pars easier.

Greens are bentgrass and can be firm in summer and slower in cool seasons, so judge approach distances conservatively and pay attention to subtle breaks.
