Playing Tips

At 7,150 yards and laid out on hilly terrain, distance off the tee helps but accurate placement for approach shots is often more important than sheer power.

Fairways are relatively generous, yet many holes use natural slopes and doglegs so pick targets to leave the best angle into the green.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can be firm and quick in dry conditions, so focus on pace control and hitting the preferred section of the green.

Account for elevation—take an extra club on long uphill approaches and expect more rollout on downhill shots.

Wind is usually light to moderate inland but can pick up on exposed tees and ridges, so check flags and adjust club selection accordingly.
