Playing Tips

1
On the Yamano Hara course take advantage of the wide, flat fairways and be aggressive off the tee to shorten approach shots when you can trust your driver.
2
On the Koisato course favor accuracy over power — tighter landing areas and more doglegs demand careful club selection and placement.
3
Respect the pine tree lines: errant tee shots can be blocked by trees or find tighter lies, so aim to keep the ball in the middle of the fairway.
4
Bentgrass greens used on the course can be moderately fast and true after mowing and sun exposure, so take time to read subtle breaks and control approach spin and speed.
5
Wind is often reduced by the surrounding trees, but some exposed or elevated holes can develop crosswinds, so check the flag and adjust aim and club accordingly.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns
Kansai inland weather: hot, humid summers with a rainy season in June and occasional typhoon influence in late summer, mild and pleasant spring and autumn, and cool winters with mornings prone to frost but usually little heavy snow; tree-lined fairways can shelter wind but exposed holes may be breezy.
Best Season to Play
Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–November) are the best times to play for comfortable temperatures and stable conditions, while June (tsuyu), the hot humid summer and late-summer typhoon season are less ideal.
