Playing Tips

1
The mountain setting and pine-lined fairways favor accuracy off the tee over pure distance, so prioritize finds on the short grass rather than risking the rough.
2
Elevation changes are common, so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots (take an extra club for long uphill approaches and be cautious on downhill clubbing).
3
Bentgrass greens are generally true and receptive but can run fast on dry days, so focus on pace as much as line when approaching the greens.
4
Wind can funnel through valleys and between pine stands making direction and gusts changeable, so observe flags and play conservatively when conditions are gusty.
5
Several holes descend toward the Inagawa valley, so placement on the tee and avoiding pine-bordered rough or fall-off areas is often more important than attacking pins aggressively.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns
Kansai mountain-valley weather: hot, humid summers with a pronounced rainy season in June and occasional typhoons in late summer, mild and stable conditions in spring and autumn, and cool winters with occasional light snow at higher elevations.
Best Season to Play
Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and attractive scenery, while avoiding the June rainy season and late-summer typhoon risk.
