The 1st hole is uphill and the 3rd green is well protected, so club up on the opener and favour precise approaches into No.3 rather than being aggressive.

The signature 16th has a creek, pond and bunkers guarding the green, so a conservative play to the safe side of the putting surface usually rewards your scorecard.

Bentgrass greens can run firm and hold well, so pay close attention to subtle breaks and try to leave your putts below the hole.

Wind can shift on the rolling, tree‑lined layout—check wind on elevated tees and adjust club selection accordingly.
