Playing Tips

The hilly, tree‑lined layout rewards accuracy off the tee—prefer position over pure distance to avoid rough and trouble around the trees.

Several holes border Ono Lake or incorporate water hazards, so play conservatively into landing areas rather than always aiming for pins near the water.

Zoysia (Kōrai) greens tend to be firmer and hold approaches, so consider hitting one club higher on long approaches and expect slower, grain‑affected putts.

Wind from the lake and exposed sections can change throughout the day, so check conditions before each tee time and adjust club selection, especially on longer exposed holes.

GPS navigation is available and useful, but always factor in elevation changes—club up for uphill shots and down for downhill to avoid coming up short or overshooting.
