Playing Tips

The course plays long and hilly, so favor accurate tee shots and position play over trying to overpower holes with distance.

Use the variety of tee boxes to match your game—moving up a tee can make the 7000+ yard layout much more manageable for higher handicaps.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and can be faster than they look, so commit to your line and be cautious with pace on downslopes.

Many tees and approaches are exposed on ridges, making wind a tactical factor—check wind direction at every tee and consider lower trajectories in gusty conditions.

Local Weather Patterns

Typical Kanto inland weather: hot, humid summers with frequent afternoon thunderstorms and occasional typhoons, mild and breezy springs and autumns, and cool winters with lower precipitation; ridge tops can be noticeably windier.

Best Season to Play

Late spring (April–June) and autumn (September–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and the most stable playing conditions; summer brings heat and typhoons while winter can be cold and wet.

Dress Code

Please refrain from visiting in casual wear such as jeans, tank tops, T-shirts, or sandals. If wearing shorts, please wear high socks as much as possible. Playing in jeans, T-shirts, or without socks is not allowed.
