Treat each nine differently: Fuji rewards length and bold lines, Sakura demands precise tee shots and iron play, and Mimaki rewards conservative positioning and good short-game recovery.

Expect significant elevation changes—club up on uphill approaches and club down on long downhill shots to avoid coming up short or overshooting the green.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and can be quick during tournament setups, so pay close attention to subtle breaks and speed control on your putts.

Wind can funnel off the surrounding mountains and shift during the round, so check wind direction from elevated tees and adjust club selection and aim accordingly.
