Fairways are lined with pine and trees so prioritize accuracy off the tee rather than pure distance to avoid blocked approaches.

Several holes feature ponds and water hazards near the landing areas, so play conservatively on risk-reward shots and favour the safe side of the green when unsure.

Greens are a mix of Bermudagrass and Bentgrass so expect seasonal changes in speed—they can be firm and subtly undulating, so take extra care with reads and pace.

Kanto breezes can influence mid- and long-iron shots, especially on exposed holes, so check wind direction from the tee and adjust club selection.
