Playing Tips

Favor accuracy off the tee because the course is forest-type with tree-lined and well-placed hazards that penalize errant drives.

Several par‑5s exceed 600 yards so plan conservative layups rather than forcing two‑shot strategies on long holes.

Bentgrass greens are generally true but can play firm and quick, so be careful with approach distances and judge putt speed conservatively.

The proximity to the Pacific means wind can pick up during the day on exposed holes, so monitor wind direction and adjust club selection accordingly.

Subtle undulations and elevation changes affect stance and roll, so aim to leave approach shots on the correct side of the pin for uphill or downhill putts.

Best Season to Play

Late spring (April–June) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable conditions and stable weather, while peak summer brings heat, humidity and typhoon risk and winter can be cold with occasional frost.
