On the front nine favor position off the tee over distance because doglegs and tight landing areas reward accuracy.

Use the visual advantage on the back nine—many tees have clear sightlines to the greens, but account for sloping surrounds that can funnel shots into trouble.

Treat the final three holes around the large pond with caution and prioritize conservative approaches to avoid penalty strokes from water hazards.

Bentgrass greens are generally true but can become firmer and faster in dry conditions, so take care with downhill putts and subtle breaks.
