Playing Tips

1
Allow for the frequent coastal wind by choosing conservative targets and adjusting club selection before each shot.
2
At 6,368 yards from the listed tees, prioritize consistent fairway position rather than taking unnecessary risks for extra distance.
3
Confirm the day’s pin positions and green conditions at check-in, as reliable hole-by-hole characteristics and green tendencies are not provided in the available information.
4
Keep approach shots below the hole whenever possible to reduce the risk of difficult long putts on unfamiliar greens.
5
In cooler or windy conditions, allow additional carry distance and maintain a steady pre-shot routine to manage changing conditions.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns
Rokkasho has cool summers, strong and changeable coastal winds, and a long cold season with possible snow and frozen conditions outside the main playing season.
Best Season to Play
The best time to play is generally from June through September, when northern Aomori has milder temperatures and the risk of snow is low.
