Playing Tips

Play aggressively on the shorter holes but prioritize tee placement to avoid coastal dunes, scrub and native rough.

The fourth hole’s large tsunami-deposited rock is a prominent strategic hazard—consider a conservative line or a precise approach to avoid being blocked or pushed offline.

Expect and plan for changing sea breezes and gusts during the round; check the wind before every shot and lower trajectory shots when the wind is strong.

Wetlands, ponds and shrubs catch errant shots easily, so favor the center of fairways and lay up when the risk to reach a pin is high.

The course uses bentgrass greens, so be mindful of seasonal firmness and subtle breaks when reading putts.
