Playing Tips

Expect constant and sometimes gusty sea breezes that will change club selection dramatically from hole to hole, so check wind direction before every shot.

Play conservatively on holes with ocean carries and the signature hole that drops down toward the beach, as shots short of the intended carry can easily find sand or water.

Natural beach-style bunkers and firm sandy turf often produce extra roll, so factor in run-out on drives and approaches rather than relying solely on carry distance.

Prioritize keeping tee shots in play over maximum distance because wind and coastal hazards punish errant drives.

Greens can be firm and affected by wind, so aim for the center of the green and be conservative with putt speed to avoid three-putts.
