Playing Tips

The overall flat layout makes walking easier and rewards consistent ball-striking, so focus on course management rather than trying to overpower holes.

On the East course the fairways are tighter and demand precision off the tee, so favor fairway woods or long irons to keep the ball in play.

The West course has more expansive driving areas and stunning views of Mount Fuji, so take advantage of wider landing zones but respect bunkers and out-of-play areas when being aggressive.

The South course features water in play on several holes so plan conservative lay-ups where necessary, while the North course uses natural terrain that produces uneven lies—favor controlled, lower-lofted clubs for stability.

Greens are bentgrass and can run moderately fast in summer and firmer in dry conditions, so take care reading subtle breaks and note the soft-spike-only rule in the clubhouse.
