Playing Tips

On the West Course, prioritize accuracy over distance because water hazards, valleys and the famous tee shot over the ancient burial mound can severely penalize wayward drives.

The East Course is tree‑lined and strategic, so play for position off the tee and favor conservative club choices to leave preferred angles into the greens.

Several holes have notable elevation changes and a long hole that overlooks the Kanto Plain, so check yardages carefully and adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots and variable wind.

Greens are a mix of Zoysia and Bentgrass so expect differing speeds and grain; play a softer touch around the greens and wear soft spikes for better traction on the hilly walkways.
