Tight fairways and a low fairway-width rating mean accuracy off the tee is essential, so favor a 3‑wood or long iron instead of the driver on riskier holes.

Deep, strategic bunkers protect many landing areas and greens, so plan approaches to avoid putting yourself into deep sand and consider conservative layups where necessary.

Nine seaside holes are exposed to sea breezes and crosswinds, so check wind direction on every hole and adjust club selection and aim for safer lines.

Zoysia (Koryo) greens tend to be firmer and slower than bentgrass, rewarding low, controlled approach shots and conservative putt speeds.
