Nikko Kirifuri Country Club is an 18-hole highland course situated within Nikko National Park at an elevation of 900 meters. Designed by professional Tsunehisa Nakajima with a focus on harmony with nature, the course offers strategic play set against stunning views of the Nikko mountain range, including Mt. Nantai and Mt. Akanagi, as well as distant sights like Mt. Tsukuba. Each hole is framed by larch and azalea trees, featuring well-maintained bentgrass greens. Playing Tips

At about 900 meters elevation the course features noticeable elevation changes so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots.

Tree-lined fairways framed by larch and azalea penalize wayward tee shots, so prioritize accuracy off the tee rather than pure distance.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can be fairly true and a bit quick, so spend time reading subtle breaks and favor lower, controlled approach shots to hold the greens.

Summer rounds are usually comfortable with cooling breezes, but wind can be gusty on exposed holes so check conditions and aim/club accordingly.
