Playing Tips

Take advantage of the wide fairways by being aggressive off the tee, but remember the course’s length makes distance a significant advantage.

Allison-style bunkers and numerous natural hazards penalize inaccurate approaches, so favor placement and course management over pure distance on approach shots.

Large bentgrass greens allow bold attacking lines, but missed greens often leave long, testing putts so prioritize approach proximity.

As a tree-lined forest course, many holes are sheltered from the wind, though exposed or elevated holes can still be affected so check flags and wind before choosing clubs.

Doglegs, valleys and ponds are common—play to safe landing areas and avoid trying to cut corners unless you have the carry and control required.
