Hanayoshino Country Club is a scenic 18-hole golf course located in Nara Prefecture. Adjust club selection for elevation—take one less club for downhill shots and one more for uphill approaches.

The front nine has longer holes framed by planted flowers, so prioritize accurate tee shots to leave manageable approach distances.

The back nine features more elevation changes and mountain views, so play conservatively on blind or sloped approaches and aim for the center of the green.

Bentgrass greens tend to be smooth and can run quick when firm, so spend time reading subtle breaks and focus on distance control on longer putts.

Wind on the hills can be shifty—check gusts on exposed tees and consider changing club selection against the wind.
