Playing Tips

Several holes are protected by strategically placed water hazards so favor accuracy off the tee and avoid forcing long carries over water.

The 18th features the notable Megane Bridge and a water-bound approach that rewards a well-placed tee or lay-up rather than an aggressive gamble.

Although the general routing is relatively flat, subtle undulations affect stance and lies so pay close attention to elevation changes when selecting clubs.

Greens are bentgrass and can be quick and true, so take time to read subtle breaks and control approach speed; soft spikes only are required in shoes.

The course sits in a maritime climate with frequent sea breezes that can pick up in the afternoon, a rainy season in early summer, occasional typhoons late summer to early autumn, and generally mild winters with cool days.

Best Season to Play

Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and stable weather, while summer brings heat, humidity and typhoon risk and early summer has the rainy season.

● During play, please refrain from wearing clothing not sold as golf (sports) wear, such as T-shirts and jeans. ● Please wear golf shoes with soft spikes or spikeless soles during play. ● For safety and heatstroke prevention, wearing a hat during play is recommended.
