The hilly layout and frequent elevation changes mean you should adjust club selection carefully, taking one more club for uphill shots and one less for downhill shots when appropriate.

At 7,094 yards the course rewards distance off the tee, so balance aggression with accuracy to keep the ball in the fairway on tighter landing areas.

Bentgrass greens tend to be firm and quick, so prioritize speed control and read subtle breaks created by slopes.

Expect local and coastal winds to affect ball flight on exposed ridges and open holes, so check the flags and aim accordingly.

Beware of hollows and sloping fairways that can kick balls into rough or hazards, and choose layups on risky holes rather than forcing low-percentage shots.

The Boso area has hot, humid summers with sea breezes and frequent afternoon thunderstorms, mild winters that can still bring cool northerly winds, and occasional strong coastal winds and typhoon influence in late summer and early autumn.

Best Season to Play

Spring (March–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable conditions for play, while the rainy season and peak typhoon months are best avoided.

Dress Code

Wearing a blazer is required (except from June to September). Jeans, T-shirts, sandals, and other inappropriate attire are strictly prohibited. Additionally, collared shirts must be worn during play.
