Pay close attention to the wind coming off the Seto Inland Sea as it can change direction quickly and affect club selection.

The layout is mostly flat and links-style, so low running shots and controlled trajectories often work better than high, ballooning shots.

Bentgrass greens can be relatively quick—commit to your read and avoid leaving long uphill lag putts.

At 6,832 yards the course is not overly long, but coastal rough and wind can severely punish errant tee shots, so prioritize accuracy off the tee.
