Playing Tips

Many greens are elevated and contoured, so club up on uphill approaches and aim for the correct tier to avoid long, difficult putts.

Wind off the Pacific can be variable and gusty—confirm wind direction at each tee and adjust club selection and trajectory accordingly.

Bentgrass greens tend to be firm and can run quick on warm, dry days, so play conservative lines and trust the break on putts.

Best Season to Play

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are the best times to play for comfortable temperatures and the clearest views of Mount Fuji and the Pacific; avoid the June rainy season and peak typhoon months in late summer if possible.

- Please refrain from visiting wearing T-shirts, tank tops, camisoles, jeans, tracksuits, work clothes, sleeveless or collarless tops, ultra-mini skirts, clothing with tattoo designs or other offensive patterns, sandals, or traditional Japanese sandals (setta). - During play, please wear clothing with a collar as a basic rule. - For safety during play, please wear a hat and socks that cover the ankles as much as possible.
