The course is hilly with significant elevation changes across its three 9-hole courses, so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots rather than relying on yardage alone.

Many greens are well guarded by bunkers and subtle slopes, so aim for the center of the green to avoid short-sided recovery shots.

Mountain breezes can be gusty and change direction quickly, particularly on exposed tees and ridgelines, so check the wind on each shot.

Bentgrass greens tend to be true but can play firm and fast in cool, dry conditions, so be conservative with putt speed and attentive to subtle breaks.

Take advantage of the practice areas to dial in your approach and bunker shots, and use the cart distance announcements to help manage conservative tee shots and club choices.

Located near the Southern Alps in inland Gifu, expect hot humid summers with afternoon thunderstorms, cool clear autumns with stable weather and crisp air, cold winters with occasional snow at higher elevations, and changeable, often windy conditions in spring.

Best Season to Play

Late autumn (October–November) offers the most stable weather, clear mountain views and comfortable temperatures, while spring (April–May) is also pleasant for milder weather and fresh greenery.
