Playing Tips

1
The Pine Course has wide fairways and gentler terrain so you can be aggressive off the tee and prioritize finding the short grass to set up mid‑iron approaches.
2
On the longer Bamboo Course, favor accuracy over distance—stay below the hole on approach when the green slopes toward the gorge and club up for any uphill carries due to elevation changes.
3
The shorter Plum Course features well‑placed bunkers and tighter landing areas, so play smart layups and target the safest parts of the green to avoid difficult bunker or downhill recovery shots.
4
Greens are a mix of Bermudagrass and Bentgrass, so expect firmer, grain‑influenced rolls in summer on Bermuda and truer, faster putting in cooler months on bent; take extra time to read subtle breaks.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns
The area has four distinct seasons with hot, humid summers and possible afternoon thunderstorms, cool and clear autumns with steady winds in exposed spots, variable springs with occasional rain, and cold winters with occasional snow at higher elevations.
Best Season to Play
Late spring (May–June) and autumn (September–November) are the best times to play for mild temperatures, stable weather, and spectacular spring greenery or autumn foliage around Ena Gorge and the Central Alps.
