Strategically placed Allison bunkers around many greens punish short or offline approaches, so prioritise positions that avoid bunker lips and steep faces.

The short 14th requires carrying a large pine tree to reach the green, so favour accuracy over distance and choose a club you can confidently carry the obstruction with.

Use the on‑site bunker practice area to rehearse greenside escapes because many recovery shots around the course require delicate technique.
