Play conservatively on the front nine as the gentle downhill holes can tempt you to overswing—focus on distance control on the longer 3rd and 6th holes.

Approach the 8th with careful club selection because the green projects over water and short or aggressive shots can easily find the hazard.

On the back nine commit to bold tee shots where required but be prepared for subtle slopes and uneven lies that make mid‑range shots delicate and demand precise trajectory control.

Bentgrass greens generally run true—judge speed carefully, especially on downhill putts, and be prepared for firm, receptive surfaces when conditions are dry.
