Bentgrass greens tend to be smooth and true, so prioritize speed control on your putts rather than relying solely on break.

On sloping fairways play conservatively off the tee to avoid difficult sidehill lies and lengthy recovery shots.

When playing long approaches aim for the center of the green as undulations can penalize misses near the edges.
