Although the overall terrain is relatively flat, accuracy off the tee is crucial because well-placed bunkers and long rough punish wayward drives.

Play conservatively to the center of the fairway on longer holes to avoid the rough and recoverable positions behind bunkers.

Wind from the surrounding mountains can be changeable—check conditions on exposed holes and adjust club selection accordingly.

Bentgrass greens can show variable speeds and subtle breaks, so take time to read putts and be cautious with downhill lag putts.
