Adatara Country Club is a hilly 18-hole course set on a 400-meter high plateau in Fukushima. The fairways are wide despite some undulation, offering a comfortable first shot on each hole. Tall pine and cedar trees separate the holes, adding visual challenge. After the tee shot, players often face uneven lies for their approach shots, which frequently involve uphill or downhill angles, making distance judgment tricky. The back nine is longer and features more uphill holes, providing a tougher test. Soft spikes are recommended to navigate the course comfortably.

The back nine is longer and has more uphill holes, so prioritize accurate club selection and pace your aggression on long holes.

Greens are bentgrass with moderate speed—focus on distance control into the greens rather than relying on long putts.

Soft spikes are recommended for traction on slopes and uneven lies, and be mindful of variable plateau winds when choosing clubs.
