Although the layout is relatively flat and walkable, the overall length (over 7,000 yards) means distance off the tee is important, so choose clubs that prioritize position and distance.

The front nine is generally forgiving but watch the 5th hole where a valley crossing and local hazards demand careful club selection to avoid trouble.

The back nine has multiple ponds and creeks so play conservatively when water comes into play and aim for the safe part of the fairway or green rather than chasing riskier pins.

The 17th hole’s green is mostly surrounded by water, so commit to a precise club choice and favor the center of the green when the pin is tucked near the water.

Greens are bentgrass and can be relatively quick, so pay attention to speed and slope on approach shots and two-putts.
