About This Course
Kitakami Municipal Golf Course is a nine-hole, par-36 riverside layout in Kitakami, Iwate Prefecture, measuring 3,209 yards. Trees are scattered through the course, creating visual reference points and requiring players to consider positioning on each hole. Wind direction changes with the seasons and is an important factor in strategy, so judging its strength and direction before choosing a club is essential. The layout rewards controlled shot-making and careful management rather than distance alone. Bentgrass greens complete this compact municipal course, which provides a straightforward round in the Kitakami area. The course was designed in-house.
