About This Course
Iwate Prefectural Golf Course is a nine-hole, par-36 hill course located within Hanamaki Regional Park, approximately 7 km northwest of central Hanamaki and adjacent to the Hanamaki Onsen area. Set at the foot of the hills, the layout is relatively flat and approachable for beginners, while still offering variety for experienced players. Water hazards that extend into the playing corridors, firm bunkers and subtly undulating greens demand careful club selection and putting. Mount Hayachine can be viewed from the course on clear days. The surrounding park also provides family-oriented facilities, including a children’s play area and tennis courts. The course is about a 10-minute drive from the Hanamaki Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway.
