Playing Tips

Accuracy off the tee is essential because several fairways are relatively narrow and wayward drives can find trees or rough.

Be mindful of the six ponds and other water hazards, particularly the picturesque 9th where the tee shot carries over water, so choose a safe club when uncertain.

The uphill/downhill and rolling nature of the hilly layout means you should carefully adjust club selection for elevation changes rather than just distance.

The 18th presents a tempting shortcut; only go for it if you are confident in both distance and accuracy, otherwise lay up for a safer par opportunity.

Greens are well maintained with a mix of bentgrass and zoysia, so expect faster putting on bent surfaces and slightly more grain/hold on zoysia — check the surface and adjust speed accordingly.
