Accuracy off the tee is rewarded because fairways are guarded by strategically placed bunkers and water hazards.

Expect coastal wind to influence trajectory—take wind into account on every hole and consider a lower ball flight in stronger breezes.

The course uses rolling, hilly terrain so uneven lies and elevation changes are common; check club selection and yardages carefully.

Bentgrass greens can be firm and subtly undulating, so prioritize distance control and landing areas to avoid long putts.
