Playing Tips

1
The Hakusan Course is the toughest of the three so prioritize accuracy off the tee and course management to avoid championship-style hazards.
2
On the Kaga Course many short holes are guarded by water, so favor conservative club selection and layups when wind or pin position brings the water into play.
3
Nihonkai’s open seaside layout is exposed to coastal winds, so adjust club selection and aim for more conservative lines when gusts are present.
4
Greens are bentgrass and very well maintained, tending toward true, moderately quick surfaces, so focus on precise approach shots and careful green reading.
5
Bring soft-spiked shoes and be prepared for variable conditions from calm sea breezes to strong gusts depending on weather.
