The hilly layout demands careful club selection on uphill and downhill shots because elevation changes can significantly alter distance.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained but tend to be firmer and faster in the warmer months, so prioritize distance control and read subtle breaks carefully.

The distinctive Y-shaped 6th hole rewards strategic tee placement to leave the best angle into the green rather than simply hitting for maximum distance.

The 18th tee overlooks the Shin-Tomei Expressway and can be exposed to crosswinds, so check wind direction on the tee and aim accordingly.
